Flavours of Manchester Chocolate Competition!!

Our first ever competition just in time for Mothers' Day. We thought we'd keep it topical so you've got 2 weeks and 50 words to tell us (flavoursofmanchester@gmail.com) why chocolate is better than.... yes... beer. This will be easy for some and difficult for others, but our feeling is that the most deserving will win - and therefore justice will be done.
You've got till noon on 5th March, which (post allowing) will get the prizes to you in time for Mothers' Day on 10th.*

*Sorry but we can't guarantee this - it will depend on Thorntons and the post.

  1. Chocolate tastes far nicer than beer, I can eat chocolate and drive afterwards and itdoesn't leave me with a hangover the following morning

  2. Ode to chocolate.

Oh beer you will never compare to this chocolate i hold.
Its creamy texture and flavours are something i wish to savour.
I dont want to wash it away with you.

  4. To much Beer and you lose good friends, fall over, damage your clothes, lose jobs, lose work, lose family and loved ones like wives, children etc, etc.

  5. Chocolate doesn't make you run to the bathroom every 10 minutes,it doesn't make your breath smells rank and will give you chocolate hips rather than beer belly ;-)
